Pistol Recoil Simulator

For my TAMU Mechanical Engineering senior design project, I designed and built a pistol recoil simulator for a firearm optics manufacturer. The goal of the project was to enable the client to test their optics thoroughly without needing to expend significant resources performing a similar test on the firing range. Along with a team of 5 other people, I was able to design a solution that was low cost, manufacturable, repairable, and robust within the given time period.
